This role requires candidates to work primarily from our office. Intrigue offers flexibility in working schedules to accommodate personal balance and lifestyle. Candidates should be local, as occasional travel within the area and attendance at events outside of normal business hours are required.
Compensation
Compensation is base salary between $55,000 – $65,000 plus commission. Commission at Intrigue is uncapped. Additional compensation-related perks are outlined on our website.
The Role
In your role as a Senior Account Manager, you will manage client relationships, drive client campaign strategies, and grow into a leadership position within the team. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve campaign goals, renew accounts, and expand client relationships. This role includes working with business owners, C-suite executives, and marketing teams across various industries, with a particular focus on landscaping and home services businesses.
Here’s what the role looks like:
You will:
- Support Intrigue’s goal of empowering 2,000 entrepreneurs annually by ensuring client satisfaction and hitting campaign goals.
- Renew digital marketing campaigns between $40,000 and $100,000 per year with current clients and expand accounts by offering additional value.
- Work with our internal teams and leaders to develop creative solutions and integrated marketing plans for clients.
- Analyze campaign results to inform tactical changes that improve campaigns.
- Achieve a Net Promoter Score of 70 or higher.
- Respond to queries, client calls, and emails to provide a world-class level of customer service.
- Follow the Intrigue Sales, Account Manager, and Client Experience Process to keep projects on track and on time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and agencies.
- Update and maintain account history and activity in Salesforce.
What does success look like?
- Maintain a client renewal rate of 90% or higher on both a monthly and annual basis.
- Meet or exceed monthly upserve quotas and revenue targets by identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients and enhancing their campaigns with tailored solutions.
- Report and build on the success of client campaigns using WhatConverts, Google Analytics, and other analytics tools.
- Communicate strategies and marketing information to clients to help them grow their businesses year over year.
- Navigate difficult conversations with confidence.
- Deliver a Marketing Action Plan (MAP Presentation) and lead campaign renewal meetings by your third month.
- Comfortably manage your own accounts and conduct client sessions within your first three months
What we’re looking for
A current mid-level or senior Account Managers will come to Intrigue with a proven track record in sales, client management, and looking to grow into a strong leader and to mentor others. You are confident with presenting to teams, business owners, and executives, and you bring unmatched communication & organization skills to the table.
Your skills include:
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in Account Management roles
- Demonstrated success managing 20+ client accounts and/or more than $1,000,000 in annual business
- Knowledge of and experience in digital marketing
- Track record of closing deals and consistently meeting quotas
- Experience working at a marketing agency is an asset
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and G-Suite tools, including Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Confidence presenting to internal and external audiences of all sizes
Bonus if you have:
- Past experience or knowledge in the Landscaping industry
- Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp, and other marketing tools
