About You
You’re a seasoned Account Manager who thrives on leading client relationships, hitting targets, and creating results. You’ve successfully managed 30+ accounts and driven revenue from $1M+ portfolios. You’re looking for a company where you can bring your skills to the table, make an impact quickly, and step into a leadership role.
You love working with entrepreneurs, especially in trades, home services, and landscaping. You’re data-driven, you communicate with confidence, and you never shy away from a challenge.
This role requires candidates to work primarily from our office. Intrigue offers flexibility in working schedules to accommodate personal balance and lifestyle. Candidates should be local, as occasional travel within the area and attendance at events outside of normal business hours are required.
Compensation
Compensation is base salary between $55,000 – $80,000 plus commission. Commission at Intrigue is uncapped. Additional compensation-related perks are outlined on our website.
The Role
In your role as a Senior Account Manager, you will manage client relationships, drive client campaign strategies, and grow into a leadership position within the team. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve campaign goals, renew accounts, and expand client relationships. This role includes working with entrepreneurs across Canada and the U.S. to help grow their businesses, with a focus on landscaping and home services businesses.
Here’s what the role looks like:
You will:
- Support Intrigue’s goal of empowering 2,000 entrepreneurs annually by ensuring client satisfaction and hitting campaign goals
- Guide clients through every stage of the campaign lifecycle—from onboarding and strategy to execution, optimization, and renewal
- Build deep, value-driven relationships with clients and become their go-to marketing partner
- Confidently manage 20–30 accounts within your first 90 days
- Renew digital marketing campaigns between $40,000 and $100,000+ annually with current clients and expand accounts by offering additional value
- Analyze campaign data to identify opportunities and confidently guide marketing strategy
- Lead MAP (Marketing Action Plan) presentations and campaign renewals
- Use tools like Salesforce, WhatConverts, Datorama, and more to track performance
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication
- Collaborate with delivery leads to streamline processes and improve client outcomes
- Work closely with business owners, executives, and marketing teams
- Attend occasional local events and client meetings as needed (flexibility provided)
What does success look like?
- You retain 90%+ of your clients month over month and year over year
- You lead accounts signed within 30 days of MAP presentation
- You hit your monthly upserve and upgrade quotas by uncovering issues and providing solutions that drive value for your clients
- You maintain a Client Satisfaction Score of 80%+
- You live and breathe follow-through, ownership, and honest communication
What we’re looking for
A current mid-level or senior Account Managers will come to Intrigue with a proven track record in sales, client management, and looking to grow into a strong leader and to mentor others. You are confident with presenting to teams, business owners, and executives, and you bring unmatched communication & organization skills to the table.
Your skills include:
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in Account Management roles
- Demonstrated success managing 30+ client accounts and/or more than $1,000,000 in annual business
- Knowledge of and experience in digital marketing
- Track record of closing deals and consistently meeting quotas
- Experience working at a marketing agency is an asset
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and G-Suite tools, including Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Confidence presenting to internal and external audiences of all sizes
Bonus if you have:
- Past experience or knowledge in the Landscaping industry
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel, WordPress, Datorama, and other marketing tools
